2017- Drums year-round class in Long Beach California Donated 80 padded chairs 10 round tables 2 rectangular tables to -The Freetown Secondary School for Girls- (FSSG) auditorium.

2016- Drums year-round class in Long Beach California -prepared for furniture donations to the FSSG Repaired and added to the existing furniture.


2015- Drums year-round class in Long Beach California

2014- Drums year-round class in Long Beach California Donated medical supplies to Four medical centers in Sierra Leone to aid with the Ebola outbreak through- The Dankay Koroma Foundation led by the First Lady of Sierra Leone-Mrs. Sia Koroma.

2013- Drums year-round class in Long Beach California Planned medical missions for 2014.

2012 - Drums year-round class in Long Beach California 2nd annual meeting of the youths in Freetown to brainstorm problem-solving issues Provided refreshments etc. for 100+ youths.

2011 - Opening of the DSD youth center in Freetown Drums class in Long Beach, California ongoing year- around $250.00 grant sent to Volunteer Youth Peace Camp –organized by Young Peace Builders in Sierra Leone.

2010 – Drums year-round class in Long Beach California DSDHM’s first trip to Sierra Leone-collaborated with youths and leaders of youth organizations in the Western area to determine the most important areas of need. Aided medical missions with Sierra Leonean doctors in areas of great need in Freetown.

2009-Drums class for underprivileged students in the Long Beach, Ca area was started.Free tuition for up to 4 students meeting once a week which is still ongoing.

  July, 2010, Sierra Leone DSDHM officials met with leaders of various youth organizations to discuss their successes as well as challenges to
implementing sustainable policies.

 After these meetings, DSDHM organized its first youth workshop with about 100 promising young citizens of Sierra Leone.  The goal was to implement Service Learning.
